What is an FTP server?
An FTP server (File Transfer Protocol server) is a server specifically designed to receive and transmit files using the FTP protocol. This protocol enables the efficient exchange of large amounts of data between computers, both within a network and over the internet.

You may have already noticed that you can add images to App4Sales or Portal4Sales via the FTP server. To do this, we use the program FileZilla. In this article, we explain the various ways you can use the FTP server.

Pictures

- Pictures need to be .jpg format
- The filename needs to be the same as the Itemcode

Customers
You can set filters for every customer to determine which items they can see. You can read how to do that in this article. By filling in the "extraCustomersData" file, you can upload the filters in bulk, saving time and effort.
